jillah (and Paul), my sis Amy (and Robbie), and of course my bestest bud funkybop aka G (and Billah) will be there the first weekend, hanging with the boyz and their wifeys and Marca etc etc, and I do believe it will be sick. However I am still in Europe til the end of the week and the thought of traveling yet again is a little daunting, not to mention still feeling the pain from Madrid. But will surely rally. Anyhoo, we will catch the Thursday NMS MOFRO opener, we have tix to Dumpsta on Friday, will of course be at NMS late-night Saturday, and not sure yet what else. Bummer we are all leaving before the Karl D sit-in show, FOMO!!!!!  j

My wife and I just booked our airfare and motel room for NOLA.  We are going between JazzFest weekends (Mon 4/28 thru Thur 5/1).  We will be attending the New Mastersounds with Karl Denson @ The Blue Nile on 4/29-30.  I can't wait!!   We also have tickets to see the Robert Walter Trio @ Preservation Hall on 4/30.

I am hoping to catch up with my friend Pete and the rest of the band while in NOLA.  It should be a great few days.
