MIKE...I AM THERE on JC7!!! ...& YOU BETTER BE THERE TOO...ok, just to let you know, the NMS blew away the HOB show, and I have about 1000 pictures to thumb through, so...for all you lucky NMS fans, give me a week or two to get em ready for you viewing pleasure...I got some real awsome shots of the band, and they were AWSOME!!!!!!!

I did hear how incredible thier last show on Tuesday at the Blue Nile with all the special guests were and I am sorry I was unable to fly in one day earlier....I missed it, but these guy's were HOT HOT HOT...and it's safe to say they WILL be back in NOLA next year for sure...as I had heard the band had a BLAST @ Jazzfest!  GOOD FOR THEM< they fit right the funk in to NOLA!

Thank to all you NMS fans for your front row kindness....it was tight, and to the New Mastersounds THANK YOU being exactly the kind of FUNK I love to hear, the new stuff was just excellent...really, your show was one of my favorite shows of the entire week......F YEAH!!!!

the place was so dark, literally, if you were not 3 feet from the band, you could not even see em'...it's all good...., but I got  afew gems...i would love to put up every photot, but NO BS...I must thumb through each SHOT and make sure they are wothy of viewing status....it was really heard shootrting in the dark, and the guy there wa sall over my ass as you are NOT ALLOWED to take pictures with out an OK from the band or Press Pass...so, I broke the HOB Law, but I am glad I took a chance on getting walked out of the gig, or I would not have had any pictures to post.

I don't want Simon to think my skills got weak.

Still...I have a lot of "WORK work" on my plate for the next bunch of days..., and I promise you will try and get to the photo's shortly.


The boy's were truly AWSOME in NOLA and were seen EVERYWHERE, and by many a music junkie....and I am proud that they actually hit some of the shows I had recommended. Regarrdless...they are 1ST RATE funk band, & attended the FUNK, with our with out any recommendation. Good for them.

They can call NOLA a second home, they played as if they were actually based from the city of NewOrleans. A++ show, well at least the one I saw.

What a great group of guy's, and such incredible musicains to boot...I am really proud to call myself a fan, and I am thankful for this chatboard...with out it, I would never have the chance to open my mouth and get in touch with other NMS fans....so thanks Mike.
I met a few other hardcore NMS fans in NOLA and traded info, so, THANKS MIKE!!!!

I hope you can get the discounted rooms, as the balcony rooms are way too expensive.
My booking is MONDAY may 12th at 11am, and I know exactly the room I will be staying in for JC7.

Hey Brad,
I heard yesterday it was closing down and it made me very sad. My buddy lives in Ft. Lauderdale so it was such a cool place to funk out. I was kinda hoping the NMS would go there every year! 

I wouldn't doubt if you saw a Culture Room show come up in the future!
